Applying to St. Martinus University is a straightforward process designed to ensure a smooth transition into your chosen medical or health science program. We invite aspiring healthcare leaders from around the world to join our diverse and dedicated community.

Application Submission
Complete your application online. Be ready to provide your Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate, a valid passport copy (at least six months beyond your intended travel date), and a signed application form if applying through an agent. Include two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references, two passport-size photographs, and a Statement of Purpose. All documents must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation and must be clear and legible.

Acceptance Letter
Participate in an initial Zoom interview with our admissions team. A successful interview will result in a Conditional Offer Letter. To confirm your acceptance and initiate enrollment, a non-refundable payment of $1,000 USD is required within the offer letter’s validity period.

Apply for Landing Permit
To proceed with your landing permit, submit the first tuition installment of $16,350 USD. Additionally, provide a Police Clearance Certificate and Birth Certificate, both issued within the last 3 months and Apostilled. Six passport-size photographs, a Sponsorship Letter, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from parents (both attested) are also required. A Bank Letter showing your name and minimum balance of $8,000 USD, signed Landing Permit application forms, and payment for Immigration and Insurance Fees are necessary. Landing permit processing takes 8 to 12 weeks. All official documents must be Apostilled or authenticated by the Dutch embassy.

Further Arrangements and Netherlands Visa Application
Once your landing permit is approved, pay for accommodation and food as per the university invoice. Apply for the Netherlands Visa through your local VFS center. Submit your original passport with photocopies of all stamped, first, and last pages, a Sponsorship Letter and a copy of the sponsor’s government-issued ID, and a Bank Statement in your name showing a minimum balance of $8,000 USD (with currency conversion if applicable). Include income tax returns of the sponsor, a signed VFS Disclaimer Form, a properly completed Visa Global Application Form, your Landing Permit Letter, Accommodation Confirmation Letter, Letter of Enrollment from St. Martinus University, a round-trip flight reservation, and original travel insurance with a minimum coverage of $50,000 USD. Two recent passport-size photographs (as per visa specifications) and your Visa Appointment Confirmation Letter are also required.

Final Notification
Notify the university immediately of your visa application status. This ensures seamless coordination for your arrival, pickup, and orientation at the campus.
Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program
- Entry into the MD program typically follows the successful completion of the Pre-Medical program at St. Martinus University.
- For direct entry, candidates should possess a strong undergraduate degree, preferably in a science-related field, with demonstrated academic excellence.
- Specific prerequisite courses in biology, chemistry, and physics are generally expected.
- An interview is part of the admission process.

Pre-Medical Program
- High School Diploma with strong performance in STEM courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics).
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) is required, along with official high school transcripts.
- Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a STEM teacher or school counselor), a personal statement describing your interest in medicine and career goals, and an interview (virtual or in-person) are mandatory.
- English language proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) may be required.
- No MCAT is necessary; successful completion of this one-year (3-trimester) program guarantees direct entry into the 4-year MD program.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program

Bachelor of Nursing Program
- Students interested in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree are initially admitted as pre-nursing majors.
- They must complete a core of pre-nursing courses before acceptance into the BSN program.
- A pre-nursing advisor assists with transcript evaluation and course planning. Admission to the nursing major requires successful completion of these prerequisite courses.
Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) Program
- Prerequisite coursework (minimum credit hours based on a semester system equivalent) includes Chemistry I and II sequence with labs (8 credit hours), Physics I and II sequence with labs (8 credit hours), and Biology I and II sequence with labs (8 credit hours).
- Anatomy (human, vertebrate, comparative, or anatomical kinesiology, 3 credit hours) and Physiology (human physiology preferred, 3 credit hours) are required; a two-course anatomy/physiology sequence may meet these requirements if totaling 6 credit hours.
- Science courses must be for science majors or pre-med majors.
- Two courses in Psychology (including general psychology and a specialized course like developmental psychology or sports psychology, 6 credit hours) and Statistics (3 credit hours) are necessary.
- English Writing (English composition or an upper-division writing course, 3 credit hours) is also required.
- No more than two courses can be outstanding at the time of application, and all must be completed within the past 5 years.
